Casey Affleck Joins The Cast Of "Paradise Lost"

Oscar-winner Casey Affleck (“The Killer Inside Me”) is the next star to join Alex Proyas’ adaptation of “Paradise Lost” as the six-winged angel Gabriel, Variety reports.

“Paradise Lost” is based on the 17th century poem by John Milton that tells the biblical story of Adam and Eve with an interesting perspective. Lucifer, being played by Bradley Cooper, is depicted as an antihero trying to fight against God’s tyranny.
The film also stars Djimnon Honsou as Abdiel, the angel of death, and the roles of Adam and Eve have been offered to Diego Boneta (“Rock of the Ages”) and Camille Bell (“10,000 B.C.”).
