Modern Family Domination
After winning Best Comedy:
On kids: “I especially want to point out all the kids on this cast. Modern family was this close to being animated, that’s how much we didn’t want to work with kids, but these guys bring it every week and the caliber they bring to the show is incredible.”
On tolerance: “A gay couple came up to us and said you’re not just making people laugh you’re making them more tolerant. And I thought, they’re right we are showing the world that there’s nothing wrong with a loving committed relationship between an old man and a hot women. Looking around the room tonight I see many of you agree. Thank you all very, very much.”
