In fact, the site features a pair of oneacre large and 50-foot deep waterfalls. Each drops into a reflecting pool where one of the World Trade Center buildings stood prior to the terrorist attacks.

The memorial remains under construction and is on track to open for a ceremony on Sept. 11.
