The new song titled “One Step Closer” is a relaxing, summer pop song that female fans will begin to adore and swoon over. With a voice similar to Jason Mraz, Harper already has young girls falling in love.

On his Twitter page with almost 30,000 followers, fans tweet messages such as Harper’s, “music is so calming to listen to. If I’m all stressed out… I just turn on his music.” Another follower tweeted to the singer, “Whenever I feel down I listen to ur music.”

Harper began his showbiz career on the Disney Channel. He is most known for his role as Spencer Walsh in “Good Luck Charlie.” He also had smaller roles in “High School Musical 2” where he was a frequent dancer.

After touring with Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance earlier this year, Harper has just received a bigger gig. It was officially announced he will be opening up for Miranda Cosgrove on her Dancing Crazy Tour going on now through the end of October.

It appears that Harper is on his way to becoming a successful dancer, actor and now, singer.
