Gaddafi Says Ready For "Martyrdom' in Radio Address

Gaddafi also said that he left his compound in Tripoli after it came under fierce attack by NATO, whom he said launched 64 airstrikes against it according to Reuters.
Libyan rebels stormed Gaddafi's compound in Bab al-Aziziya, a neighborhood in Tripoli, on Tuesday but did not find the dictator of 42 years there. Gaddafi said he left for "tactical reasons."
A spokesperson for the opposition National Transitional Council said that, while rebels are considering prosecuting Gaddafi, his son Saif al-Islam, and others in conjunction with the International Criminal Court for war crimes, seeking justice in-country was their preference.
Gaddafi's location remains unknown. His regime has faced more than six months of armed resistance from an opposition movement that has been significantly boosted by NATO cooperation. The rebel takeover of the Libyan capital, Tripoli, comes after Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali were deposed in the "Arab Spring" uprisings.
