What kinds of movies can we expect to see in the near future? Check out what student honorees at the 2011 Campus MovieFest International Grand Finale had to say.

Campus Movie Fest is the world’s largest student film festival.  Each year, the festival travels across the country to over 75 schools, providing students with equipment to make a five minute movie within one week.  The winners from each school in four different categories—best comedy, best drama, best picture, and “wild card,” then compete against each other at the International Grand Finale.

This year’s International Grand Finale flew the selected student groups into Universal City for a weekend of awards and workshops.  The award ceremony was held on June 24 at Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank.

Check out interviewees’ videos here: “Unattainable: a Ninja Story” (winner of Campus Best Picture),“Portrait of the Storm: Tuscaloosa, AL” (winner of Best 3D), and USC filmmakers’ “Check Engine.” (Campus Best Picture)
