Sky News is reporting British singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her North London home.

The Grammy-award winning singer (for her album “Back to Black”) was most known for her song “Rehab.” The lyrics included, “They tried to make me go to rehab and I said no, no, no.”

Winehouse’s most recent trip to rehab began in May. She checked out in June and hoped to tour throughout Europe in the summer.

Metropolitan police reports announced, “Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”

Story is developing.

UPDATED 12 NOON PST: TMZ reports there are no signs of foul play in the death of Amy Winehouse.

Just three days ago, Winehouse appeared on stage with Dionne Bromfield at the iTunes Festival in North London. Even though she did not sing on-stage, Winehouse appeared to be in good spirits and healthy.

In an official statement, Winehouse’s record company, Universal, stated: "We are deeply saddened at the sudden loss of such a gifted musician, artist and performer. Our prayers go out to Amy's family, friends and fans at this difficult time.”

Fans may still be able to hear new music from the singer. According to the Los Angeles Times, Winehouse recently recorded a song for Tony Bennett's latest album, "Duets II," which is scheduled for release in September.

Many celebrities have reacted to the news of Winehouse's sudden passing on their Twitter accounts. Here are just a few stars sharing their thoughts.
