Rep. Anthony Weiner Could Face Trouble For Interacting With 17-Year-Old

According to Fox News, the girl's mother said her daughter told her that none of the messages between her and Weiner were inappropriate.
The Philadelphia Inquirer also reported Friday that Daniel P. McElhatton, who represents the high school student’s family, issued a statement saying: "The 'Tweets' in question between the student in question and the Congressman were not salacious or in any manner inappropriate. No photographers were ever sent to her or from her."
Even if no illegal activity is uncovered, this recent case is causing more Republicans and Democrats to voice their belief that Weiner should resign from office as early as Monday. "He is not being realistic about what he will face if he returns on Monday," according to one senior House Democratic aide.
Rep. Weiner’s wife remains in Africa with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She has not commented on her husband’s transgressions but was spotted wearing her wedding ring. Just this week, it was revealed she is expecting a child with Weiner.
