This invitation only lounge was open to various celebrities on Friday and Saturday. Nominees and presenters gathered for afternoons filled with unique gifts and entertainment.  This year’s suite had a vintage cinema theme. Guest entered through a garden decorated with black and white cabanas, mirrored tables, and comfy couches.

GBK Productions, one of the top gifting suite production companies and the recipient of multiple  BizBash Awards for “Best Gift Bag,” offered its exclusive list of invited celebrities, VIPs and media the opportunity to enjoy the fabulous L.A. weather with custom ice cream and free bar drinks.

Various sponsors bombarded Movie Awards nominees, comedians and recording artists with extravagant merchandise. Guests received trips to the Caribbean, vintage couture clothing, jewelry, wine, makeup and much more. Many of the female guests spent the most time checking out the Hard Candy cosmetics display. The company gave guests free makeovers and provided them with a never-ending supply of makeup. People could choose from essentials like concealer and then build themselves up to more flashy items like glitter mascara.

Other great gifted items included SOHO Beauty Cases and makeup brushes, Nanodots™ Magnetic Constructors, ADMIT TO BITTER products, an online platform for New York City artists, musicians, and fashion designers, Chelsea Taylor jewelry, and Bark After Dark dog care services.

But for this event taste buds beat out style; some of the most popular vendors of the weekend were the ones with tasty treats. Dotpops! Bakery provided handmade cake lollipops in various flavors and designs. Sweet Rose Creamery offered small batch organic ice cream treats from bon bons to ice cream sandwiches. Guests could also build their own ice cream bars courtesy of Boardwalk Ice Cream Co. The company uses all natural ingredients to make premium ice cream on a stick that is hand-dipped into real chocolate and finally rolled into a variety of candy and nut toppings.  Apple Revolution provided attendees with designer caramel apples and Waialua Soda Works, a natural, old- fashioned soda company based on the North Shore of Hawaii helped people wash down the sweet treats.

Celebrities to make an appearance throughout the weekend included: Chaka Khan, Niecy Nash, AnnaLynne McCord accompanied by new beau, Dominic Purcell, Alexys Nycole Sanchez, Chuy Bravo, Alexis Bellino, Brandi Glanville, Flavor Flav, The Electric Barbarellas, Reid Ewing, Steve-O, Ernie Hudson, Candace Cameron Burke, Frankie Muniz, Tessa Thompson, Bella Thorne, Aubrey O’Day, Renee Olstead, Kimberly Elise, Chris Massey, Kyle Massey, Tasha Smith and many others.

Charity is also a major focus at GBK Gift Lounges. Featured charities for the MTV Movie Awards suite included; St. Bernard Project, a national award-winning New Orleans rebuilding agency that continues to return Katrina victims back to their homes and communities; MyLife MyPower’s a national campaign that reaches out to bullies, their victims, schools, teachers, and parents; Educating Young Minds an organization that provides supplemental learning tools to students so they can grow academically, emotionally, spiritually and socially and SoHo Project (Sisters Offering Hope to Others), a group dedicated to raising funds and awareness for nonprofits by offering new and creative platforms that integrate artists.
