After publicly sharing his struggles with addiction on “Celebrity Rehab,” reports say “Grease” actor Jeff Conaway was taken off life support Thursday afternoon and died this morning at 10:30AM.

Dr. Drew Pinsky, who treated Conaway on Vh1’s “Celebrity Rehab,” tells TMZ there is no evidence that his death was caused by an overdose. Instead, “This was aspiration with overwhelming pneumonia and sepsis.  Jeff is another pharmaceutical death from the overutilization of prescription drugs.”

Conaway was most known as Kenickie Murdock in “Grease.” He also starred in the television show, “Taxi.”
