After a surprise announcement that former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife Maria Shriver were separating after 25 years of marriage, new details are emerging that this relationship has been on the rocks for a long time.

TMZ reports Shriver has debated divorcing Schwarzenegger since 2009.

Shriver is tired of Schwarzenegger’s infidelities and womanizing ways. In fact, Shriver had moved out of the mansion they shared months ago. Shriver’s kids even acknowledge the issues and have supported their mom through the separation according to TMZ.

Schwarzenegger was seen riding his bike with a friend Monday, the day of the announcement, without a wedding ring. Nonetheless, sources tell TMZ he is fighting hard to win back his wife.
