He may be the Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development for Bravo TV. But that doesn’t mean Andy Cohen has to shy away from the camera on his own network.

Many fans of the cable network most recognize Cohen as the man who moderates the popular “Real Housewives” reunion shows. When the ladies start yelling (and the reality TV magic happens), Cohen sits politely, holding his note cards filled with juicy questions, just dreaming about how good this will be once it airs. He doesn’t show favorites, well at least tries not to. There may be some extra love for Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes and a little confusion over Jersey’s Danielle Staub.

He follows the same methodology on the “Top Chef” reunion specials. Granted, the chefs are much better behaved. Nonetheless, he won’t shy away from what the audience has been wondering all season long. Besides, he can always use the excuse that another viewer facebooked or tweeted him the question and he would have never asked otherwise.

Recently, Cohen has found huge success on his new late-night talk-show “Watch What Happens Live,” which airs twice a week, usually after another dramatic “Housewives” episode. His guests range from Bravo stars to Gayle King to favorites Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos. Whether he is interacting with viewers during phone calls, planning drinking games, or playing games with guests, Cohen’s 30 minute show speeds by. During some shows, he beats “Chelsea Lately” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in the ratings.

Cohen can also be found as a regular guest with “Today’s” Kathie Lee and Hoda during Monday’s “Today’s Buzz” segment. Besides explaining the top stories of the day in entertainment (you know, he always has the 411), there may be some playful flirting going on between Cohen and Gifford.

In the coming weeks, viewers can look forward to “The Real Housewives of Orange County” reunion, which filmed for over eight hours last week.  In the meantime, Cohen probably has a few surprises up his sleeve. Another housewife probably has a new single to debut. Maybe Cohen just found the craziest women in Houston for another “Housewives” show.

Whatever the case, Cohen has had a huge part of Bravo’s growing presence in pop culture. Without Cohen, the network simply wouldn’t be the same.
