Donald Trump is picking fights again. But his most recent beef has nothing to do with a birth certificate.

On CNN's "State of the Union," Trump criticized Mitt Romney's business skills, contending he is worth much more.

“I'm a much bigger business man and have (a) much, much bigger net worth. I mean, my net worth is many, many, many times Mitt Romney,” Trump told CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley Sunday. “I built a very big net worth and I’d like to put that ability … to work for this country.”

Trump has yet to officially say he is running for the Republican nomination in the 2012 presidential election, but his recent media appearances all point to his likely bid for the nation's top spot. Romney may be a competitor for the GOP nod.

“I love my life. I love what I’m doing,” Trump said. “I wish I didn’t have to do it [run for president]. I would prefer not doing it. But I love this country.”

The business mogul says many things are wrong with America, and he is unhappy that China and Saudi Arabia are "ripping us off."

Trump's poll numbers have been rising. But he admits that that's due partially to name recognition, which he says is "because of success."

The reality star is set to make an announcement on May 22 after the season end of his show "Celebrity Apprentice."

Trump should run. As my father said & I've heard all of my 70 years "the only good politician is a dead one". Given the time, every one of 'em has proven to be a failure as a leader of my country. Stop selling out to lobbyists. The HOUSE of REPS. is supposed to bring local issues forward; NOT lobbyists with a bag of money. PERHAPS with a love of my country TRUMP could stay on course & preserve the United States of America for our grandchildren.
