He may be a television genius, but definitely not baby daddy material.

Not only did Simon Cowell leave "American Idol" back in 2010, but now he has announced his departure from the original British version of "X Factor" to focus on the American branch.

How much is this new American "X Factor" worth? More to him than $130 million, no biggie.

Simon Cowell is credited for the success of the BBC version of "X Factor" as he nurtured the show with his production company Syco. Changing the gears this time, Simon is teaming up with British singer Cheryl Cole and L.A. Reid as a dynamic triad for a American version's judge panel.

Surprising the world, "American Idol" did not plummet as hard as was expected with the absence of the brutally honest, pompous judge Simon Cowell. Yet, it was like witnessing baby Moses being sent down the Nile River by his father with a check of $130 million dollars as a bib.

Last year when bombarded with the question of "Why?", Simon said, "I wanted to do something different. I wanted a new challenge.”

Beware Simon. I would recommend going to a few daddy daycare lessons for this new child of yours before it ends up biting you in the butt.
