I'm joining my fellow Brits who are home away from home in Los Angeles at the Cat N Fiddle Pub on Sunset Blvd.

Around 200 people are here dressed in pajamas and tiaras, sitting around candle-lit tables watching BBC America in big screens. An occassional cheer will be heard when someone spots a member of the Royal Wedding party on the television screen, while others are drinking, eating and huddling under their dressing gowns.

"I'm here to just watch the wedding, and take in something interesting from the other side of the globe," said Michael, a California native, who joined the festivities at 1am.

Emily Henry, a British native in San Francisco, tweeted "I'm here! Tired and awake but desperate to do my country justice and stay up all night!"

She added, "I am drinking PG Tips out of commemorative "William and Kate" mugs. I am TOO British right now."

Lex, a Londoner who has been living in LA for 2 years, yelled out a cheer when he spotted former Prime Minister John Mayor. "It's nice to see he's still around," he said. Lex's reasons for joining the Hollywood party decked out in yellow starry pajamas were pretty straight forward: "Because my mum told me to."

Laura from St. Louis, Missouri, joined the party in her rabbit-print pajamas and a tiara on her head. "I just wanted to be here and I can't wait to see the dress," she said.

The festivities will kick off at 10am GMT (2am PST), and the question still remains - Who will the bride be wearing?

1.15am - A sighting of David and Victoria Beckham bring out the cheers. FYI - Victoria, who is pregnant with her fourth child, is in one of her own designs and a Phillip Treacy hat.

1.28am - The little bridesmaids bring out the "awwws" - everyone getting slowly drunker and more excited for the wedding.

P.S. Check out the official Brits in LA drinking game, especially "6: William will oe day become king of this fine country, a fact that needs to be celebrated no? Every time the expression "Future King" is said, everyone must drink."

2:00am - People shouting "wanker" after spotting David and Samantha Cameron on screen.

2:11am - Random bursts of "Rule Britannia" being sung as revellers at this party enjoy drinking at a pub past 2am in LA.

2:13am - Roars of cheers as Prince Charles and Prince William are spotted in their car - William is decked out in red military regalia. Crowd here are getting really excited as the car heads down the Mall...

2:17am - The crowd here go wild as Prince William gets out of the car.

2.27am - The Middletons have been spotted...crowd settling in to watch the wedding.

2:46am - Photographers are positioned in front of a group of pajamaed-tiaraed fans, waiting with baited breath to capture their over-excited expressions. In the last 20 mins, 2 such moments have occured, once with the sighting of the Queen, and next with a sighting of Prince Charles. Roars of "abdicate" as Prince Charles is shown on screen...guess we all know who we want for our next King!

2:50am - Everyone is excited for Kate as she is about to get out of the car...shrill shrieks at glimpses of the v-neck lace dress that the bride is wearing. Still debates on the designer...will it be Sarah Burton as lately suspected?

2:53am - As expected, crowd goes wild for Kate as she is seen through the open-top car. Dress is confirmed as vintage Alexander McQueen - Sarah Burton rumors were true! Gorgeous dress, and the tiara is by Cartier in 1936, lent to Kate by the Queen, who was given the tiara on her 18th birthday from the Queen Mother. Head bridesmaid Pippa Middleton in a fitted cream sheath dress, also designed by Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton.

2:56am - If you aren't watching the wedding right now, why not? Live stream of the wedding is right here.

3:06am - Crowd at Cat N Fiddle seem entranced by the hymn as Kate Middleton walks down the aisle. Shouts of "Ginger" as Prince Harry appears on screen.

3:08am - Jumps of excitement as Kate joins William at the alter. Further shouts for Elton John as he sings along to the hymn.

3:13am - The fun part begins (!) Everyone silent for the wedding ceremony. Cheers as William says "I Will."

3:18am - Will puts the ring on Kate's finger as he takes his vows. The room is silent, and there are a few tears.

3:20am - Prince William and Kate Middleton are officially Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!

"I'm trying to find something entertaining with this," said Harry Duna, an Atlanta native now living in LA, as he suggested that Elton John must be getting paid as he's on TV singing in a choir.

"Her dress looks like something that came out of a vintage thrift shop in New York," said Duna. "It's like something Courtney Love would wear."

3:35am - I think everyone's done with the wedding. People are quiet and dozing off...

3:40am - Twitter rumors are revealing that Prince Harry said "Wait till you see her" to Prince William at the altar before Kate's arrival. Adorable.

3:42am - Cat N Fiddle staff wrapping up the festivities quietly. Apparently the wedding is doing the same. Signing off, but follow live updates here
