Nickelodeon’s “Kids' Choice Awards” Audience Secrets
First and foremost, “Suite Life on Deck” star Debby Ryan amazed fans after the show. On her way to the exit and completely bombarded by kids and their parents, Ryan took at least 30 minutes to take pictures and sign autographs. There was never any attitude shown or desire to escape the complete frenzy.
While in the audience, host Jack Black did his best to say hi and high-five as many young fans as possible. Drake Bell was more than willing to sign autographs. The “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” cast was patient and lovely with young fans who begged for photos and autographs.
Adults were excited to see Holly Robinson Peete who was friendly and acted like a big kid during performances. Brandy was also gracious to fans and was able to snap a picture of her young guests and Jaden Smith.
The show as a whole was filled with screaming fans and many guests that left us wondering, do young kids even know these celebrities?
Rosario Dawson and Jason Segal were presenters that must have more younger adults than kid fans. In addition, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian presented an award. We may be big fans, but are “iCarly” fans also watching “Kourtney and Kim Take New York?”
Out of the entire show. Big Time Rush had possibly the largest applause and response from fans. Black Eyed Peas may have beaten them in best music group. The excitement and screaming from fans, however, far outlasted Fergie and crew.
Finally, the oh-so-important slime. Snoop Dogg, Josh Duhamel and Heidi Klum were just some of the lucky stars to get drenched. According to the kids, who also got soaked at the beginning of the show, the famous slime is edible, but tastes a lot like soap. Only at the “Kids' Choice Awards.”
