L.A. Today: Easter, Hiking, And More

A popular trail in Franklin Canyon has been bordered up, maybe for good. The L.A. Times had a story Sunday about a group fighting to save the area from development. 

Via the Daily Pilot: An Orange County assemblyman wants to give parents more say whether their children will be taught about sex and other issues. The bill would require written consent. 

A little old, but if you haven’t seen this it’s a must watch. Two friends decided to take a taxi from New York City to Los Angeles. The fare? $5,000. L.A. Weekly.

So, Easter came and went. And that passing is a difficult one, KPCC says, for egg producers. Apparently, the dramatic rise before the holiday and the following drop-off requires some flexible business models.
