The four-minute preview of the much-anticipated movie was shown at CinemaCon to theater owners, but will not be released publicly. Producers David Heyman and David Barron said the movie would be the shortest one of the series, with a run time of only a little over two hours.

According to Entertainment Weekly in their description of the preview online, fans can expect an action-packed, but also emotionally wrenching conclusion. They can also anticipate the final battle at Hogwarts to be perhaps just as gory and thrilling or even more so than fans would expect. The already released scene from the teaser trailer where Harry has come to face Voldemort, unarmed and willing to die, is included and leads into Harry in the afterlife with Dumbledore.

Harry confronts Snape in the Great Hall about killing Dumbledore, screaming at Snape “tell them how it happened that night. How you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you, and killed him!”

More battle scenes follow, leading up the end where Potter grabs Voldemort as they both hurtle off the side of a cliff and declares, “let’s finish this the way we started…together…”

While fans wait eagerly for the final film’s release in July, the stars of the colossal hit series have moved on to other things.

Emma Watson continues to attend Brown University and recently became one of the new faces of Lancôme for their Trésor Midnight Rose fragrance. She tweeted about her excitement on March 14, saying “it starts with an L and ends with an E. I’m sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me! :-).”

Daniel Radcliffe has taken on Broadway again, now singing and dancing, in a revival of “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.” After starring in the 2008 revival of Peter Shaffer’s “Equus” nude, Radcliffe now headlines as the window washer J. Pierrepont Finch who climbs the corporate ladder to try and make his way on up in society.

Meanwhile, Rupert Grint has been in Norway filming the movie “Comrade,” where he will play rebellious Private Robin Southey Smith, an English Armed Forces pilot from Liverpool. Peter Naess directs this war drama about English and German pilots who crash-land in the Norwegian wilderness and must learn to work together to survive the harsh winter.

So we’ll have to stay tuned for any more Harry Potter leak magic leading up to the July release.
