Whoever said that playing with fire is a bad idea has clearly never tried fire cupping. The method, a traditional medicine found in many cultures worldwide from ranging from the Middle East to Asia, has been around for more than a thousand years.

Cups of various shapes, materials and sizes are placed on the body to create a vacuum on the patient's skin. The therapy is used to dispel stagnation—stagnant blood, treat respiratory diseases such as the bronchitis, pneumonia and the common cold.

Although I cannot vouch how well cupping is for curing certain illnesses, I can say it functions very well as a massage.

So what do you think? Will you consider getting the treatment?
