Charlie Sheen has really made a name for himself in the past couple of months, as he veered from outlet to outlet rolling choice soundbites off his tongue.

After effectively exhausting the television circuit, Sheen decided to release his thoughts directly to an audience and live, kicking off his My Violent Torpedo of Truth Vs. The Losing Trolls Of Lies tour in Detroit.

The entire 5,000 seat Fox Theater was sold out, to a crowd that seemed prime to accept Sheen's patented brand of crazy.

So how did it go? Well, not so well. Sheen's monologues had no plan, and he veered between trying to engage the audience and just plain insulting them.

For many of the show-goers, the show (whose tickets had cost upwards of $50) was a bust, and the audience began to boo Sheen off the stage almost as soon as he started.

Round 2 of Sheen's tour is tonight in Chicago.
