Just hours after Spears’ announcement on ‘Good Morning America’ about Iglesias joining her this summer, the deal was dropped. Iglesias stated that he dropped the tour due to time conflicts and to promote his new album, “Euphoria.” Speculations were made as to the truth of this statement, but his rep assured fans that he is a “longtime fan of her work” and that he did in fact have scheduling conflicts with her tour.

With that aside, the question on everyone’s mind was who would be the new headliner for Spears’ tour.

The fans' excitement over rumors of hip-hop singer, Nicki Minaj, joining Spears this summer sealed the deal. Minaj finishes her tour with Lil Wayne at the end of April and will join Spears starting in Sacramento, California on June 17th.

Minaj’s collaboration with Drake in “Moment 4 Life” has been climbing the charts since it was released. It currently stands at No. 15 on Billboard’s Top 100.

But Minaj will not outshine the Hollywood veteran. Spears’ new single “Till the World Ends” from her newly release album, “Femme Fatale,” currently sits at No. 13 on Billboard’s Top 100.

“Femme Fatale” was released on March 29th and debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. album charts, as well as in Canada, Australia and Korea. This chart-topping album marks Spears as the first female to have six No. 1 album debuts.

It is no question that this 26-day tour will be one of the hottest tours this summer. Will you be attending?
