During the season 3 premiere of “16 and Pregnant,” we met now 18-year-old Jordan Ward, a former model and now teen mom.

Jordan lives in St. Louis and has a twin sister, Jessica. When the two were young, their parents could not raise them so their grandparents adopted them. The twins dropped out of high school in order to pursue modeling. Now they are enrolled in GED classes.

After returning to St. Louis, Jordan met her boyfriend Brian. Jordan claimed that nothing was ever the same between her and her sister after Brian.

Jordan claimed she was on the pill, but did not give it long enough time to actually work.

Jordan’s grandmother was skeptical at first about letting Brian move in with them, but she eventually agreed to let him stay because she sees how much the couple loves each other. Most relationships on the show seem trivial, but it really seems like true love and devotion exists between Jordan and Brian.

The main drama of the episode was the three-way conflict between Jordan, Jessica, and Brian. Jessica and Brian do not get along, which caused Jordan to be caught in the middle. Brian even asked Jordan if she would ask Jessica to not be in the delivery room at the birth. He claimed that he wanted to have a “last moment” with Jordan as just a couple.

When Jordan confronted Jessica about Brian’s request, Jessica broke down. But later Jordan stood up for her sister and softly demanded that she be in the delivery room. Brian reluctantly complied.

Even though Brian was a source of tension between the twins, we finally have a teen dad who is not absolutely obnoxious like Gary and Ryan from season one! Brian actually goes to college and works long hours to support Jordan and the baby. He even said that all he wants is for his son, Noah, is a strong relationship between father and son.

In the delivery room, Jordan sobbed from the unbearable labor pains. But when baby Noah was finally born, her first words to him were “I love you.”

After the delivery, the show went into a typical “16 and Pregnant” montage of the baby waking up every two hours during the first night home. Even though the couple took care of the baby together, they still struggled from the lack of sleep.

Jessica became upset when Jordan accepted Brian’s help with the baby over hers. Jessica cried to her grandmother, “I want to go back to when it was just me and her.”

The couple took baby Noah to the doctor after he constantly cried and had trouble feeding. Noah was rushed to the hospital because of severe acid reflux. Doctors gave him medication through an IV, which allowed him to calm down.

In the end, Jordan said what most of the other teen moms say: that she gave up her future and she wished she had waited.

Catch “16 and Pregnant” every Tuesday night at 10/9c on MTV.
