“Kids Choice Awards,” Nickelodeon, April 2, 8 p.m.

Jack Black returns as host for the awards show devoted to kids. The slime is back for a few unsuspecting celebrities. The Black Eyed Peas and Big Time Rush are slated to perform and superstar Britney Spears is expected to make an appearance.

“The Academy of Country Music Awards,” CBS, April 3, 8 p.m.

Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, all nominated for Entertainer of the Year, are set to perform at country’s biggest night. Lambert has an impressive seven nominations while Swift has four. Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire will host live from Las Vegas.

“Britney Spears: I Am The Femme Fatale,” MTV, April 3, 9 p.m.

After much praise from critics on her seventh studio album, Britney Spears shares what happened behind-the-scenes. The special will include footage from her recording studio, during her latest music video and before her surprise performance in Las Vegas. This special will be one of the few times viewers can get an inside look into Spears’ personal and professional life.

“Dr. Drew Pinsky,” CNN Headline News, April 4, 9 p.m.

“Celebrity Rehab” doctor and “16 and Pregnant” reunion host Dr. Drew Pinsky is set to begin his new weeknight talk show. “The show is passionate about helping people through relationships, teens parenting or addiction,” said Executive Producer Burt Dubrow. “The goal is to help people and leave the audience with a take away… to feel something.”

“Kate Plus 8,” TLC, April 4, 10 p.m.

Does anyone still want to see the Gosselin family minus Jon? According to TLC, there is still an appetite for the family that has been through plenty of public and private drama. In this season, Kate and the children enjoy a family vacation to none other than Australia. The biggest question may be whether or not Jon will make an appearance at some point during the season.

“Khloe & Lamar,” E!, April 10, 10 p.m.

The Kardashian family lives on. As soon as “Kourtney and Kim Take New York’s” season ends, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom will join together for their own reality show. E! will peak into the lives of the Odom family including attempts at a baby, life as an NBA star and wife and on-again off-again roommate Rob Kardashian. Before “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” returns, Lamar and Khloe can fill America’s Kardashian enthusiasm.

“The Judds,” OWN, April 10, 9 p.m.

Naomi and Wynonna Judd could very well be one of Oprah Winfrey’s favorite mother-daughter relationships. They were featured as part of Oprah’s season 25 premiere week and were later praised from the talk-show host during “Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes” on OWN. Now, viewers will be able to follow the country duo and their up and down relationship. According to the show’s site, the Judds will, “work to heal old wounds, reconnect with their fans, and share the spotlight once again.”

“Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution,” ABC, April 12, 8 p.m.

Los Angeles is known as a city with not the healthiest residents. Obesity rates in the Los Angeles Unified School District are above average compared to other parts of the country. As a result, Jamie Oliver pushed for his second season to focus on LAUSD school meals. Unfortunately, LAUSD was less than thrilled with Oliver’s desire to step in and analyze their school lunches. “Food Revolution’s” second season will follow Oliver’s obstacles with LAUSD and quest for healthier lifestyles for many Los Angeles residents.

“16 and Pregnant,” MTV, April 19, 10 p.m.

Just when you thought MTV didn’t feature enough teen moms, “Teen Mom” is back with season three and 10 new young parents. One teenager once suffered from anorexia while another is expecting twins. In addition, another mom has a baby with a subsequent health scare. The debate will continue as to weather or not “Teen Mom” depicts a real view of teenage pregnancy or if the show is simply glamorizing a difficult situation for many teenagers.

“The Voice,” NBC, April 26, 9 p.m.

Another vocal competition series on a major network? It’s true; NBC is modeling Holland’s highly-successful show where judges face the opposite direction of the singer in initial auditions. The show features four musician “coaches” instead of judges. Signed up for the roles are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Hosted by Carson Daly, the winner will receive a recording contract and a $100,000 cash prize.
