The 1997 film “Titanic” enraptured the hearts of millions of viewers with the romance between two young lovers.  This romantic and tragic film sparked the beginnings for Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Since then, these two have climbed to the front of the ship and lead successful careers. Their latest claim to fame: the most romantic onscreen couple.

Over 25% of the people in this conducted surveyed voted for the duo.  Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh in “Gone With the Wind” follow as a close second.

Another survey asked over 500,000 for their top cinema picks.  The favorite film choice and characters for ABC TV and People magazine will be revealed tonight on television.
