While true Gleeks readily awaited the blissful moment of Kurt and Blaine's first kiss, others seemed to be openly "sickened" by sights of the liplock. Onetime SNL player, Victoria Jackson, released a blatant homophobic blogger rant about the episode.

Jackson openly criticized "Glee" producers for supposedly supporting what she called "one-way tolerance." She bravely boasted that the show mocked Christians (remember Kathy

Her outburst about "Glee" was only one of many intolerant, hate-filled comments about other groups.

With Foo Fights and Kings of Leon also making anti-"Glee" comments, the show is receiving even more press than ever, and this media attention is well deserved.

Very few shows have been willing to push the limits of acceptability by showing two men kissing, and this is especially true when dealing with high schoolers. The show treated the kiss as if it were two heterosexual characters kissing, creating a very sweet moment between the two friends.

"Glee" producers have also taken this a step further by advocating sex education regardless of sexual orientation. With Blaine's help, Kurt's dad makes a special effort to encourage his son to become educated and aware, despite his timidity.

This sends a strong, open and optimistic message to viewers who are struggling with similar issues at home, and "Glee" is certainly extending the bounds of what is and should be "acceptable" on mainstream T.V.
