With seven different areas of the country being featured - Miami, New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Orange County, Beverly Hills and Atlanta – some of the many cast members or cities from the “Real Housewives” franchise are bound to be making news. Here’s a quick summary on what has happened this week involving Bravo’s guiltiest pleasure.

“Real Housewives of New York City”

The New York ladies are finally coming back. Much speculation was made when Bravo moved the premiere date from February to now April 7th at 10 p.m. Multiples theories as to the reason for the delay included needing more time to shoot because there wasn’t enough drama to not wanting to compete with Bethenny’s own successful show. Regardless, the new and improved trailer looks much more drama filled. There might even be a blonde vs. brunette alliance developing.

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”

Radaronline reports the entire cast from Beverly Hills has signed up for season two and filming has already begun. Camille Grammer and Kim Richards were most hesitant to return for a second season. But with much persuasion from producers, they both decided to come back for more.

Michaele Salahi from “Real Housewives of Washington D.C.”

With no signs of the D.C. housewives returning, Salahi decided to prolong her 15 minutes of fame by heading over to Dr. Drew Pinsky in next season’s “Celebrity Rehab.” TMZ reports Salahi was asked to leave a few days after filming began because Pinsky and crew discovered she carried no serious addiction. The accused White House party crasher might instead be addicted to fame and attention.

Quick Bits

NeNe Leakes from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is currently starring in “The Celebrity Apprentice” on NBC. In the coming weeks, Leakes is expected to have numerous conflicts with none other than Star Jones.

Peggy Tanous will officially be introduced as the new girl on the “Real Housewives of Orange County” this Sunday at 10 p.m.
