"The Real Housewives of DC" have nothing to cheer about this week, as their show became the first from the successful franchise not to return for another season.

Although the drama that unfolded from the now infamous Salahi couple crashing the Obamas’ State Dinner made national headlines, it did not help the show in garnering as strong of ratings as the other spinoffs in the series that include Orange County, New Jersey, Atlanta and Beverly Hills.

Earlier this month, DC housewife Michaele Salahi received some more bad news when she was asked by Dr. Drew Pinksy to leave the cast of  “Celebrity Rehab.”

According to an online source, Salahi was leaning to the show to help her cope with her issues stemming from the White House incident as well as her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.

However, after a thorough medical examination from Dr. Drew, Salahi was immediately released from the treatment facility since she does suffer from substance abuse, the show’s primary purpose.
