Wide receiver Victor Blackwell has joined his quarterback Max Wittek at USC signing with the Trojans Wednesday, the school confirmed.

Blackwell and Wittek continued the pipeline of high-profile recruits to come to USC from Mater Dei High in Santa Ana, Calif. The 6-foot-1, 190 pound Blackwell is a dynamic playmaker on the outside with great speed.

It was rumored that Blackwell's commitment was waning with the possibility of his good friend DeAnthony Thomas not coming to USC. Thomas will make his decision this evening, but could spurn the Trojans and Blackwell to go to Oregon.

The thought was that Blackwell might follow Thomas to Eugene.

Blackwell is listed as a four-star recruit by Scout, Rivals and ESPN. He is ranked in the top 20 of the nation's receivers by each recruiting service and listed at No. 59, right behind Wittek, in ESPNU's top 150.
