With each and every protest for the past eight days, the confidence of the people of Egypt has increased. Chants of “Bread, freedom and social justice” have escalated into the more demanding “Down with Mubarak.” A few days after Neon Tommy examined why the people of Egypt are protesting, it's appropriate to re-evaluate the situation and see what a week of rioting and revolution has brought the people taking to the streets of the country's major cities.

Despite the accomplishments detailed below, the protestors appear to be saying they will stop nothing short of President Hosni Mubarark's departure from government.
