Who doesn't want to hang out with the man of many names?
For the next four days, the NBA will take over downtown Los Angeles. All-Star weekend is upon us and consequently, so are a barrage of parties hosted by athletes and celebrities.

Here are the top five places to be:

5. Who: Nicki Menaj and Rick Ross

Where: Exchange LA

When:  Friday, February 18. 9pm.

Why: Nicki Menaj and Rick Ross are hosting the party, dubbed “The Player’s Ball.” You can’t get in the door for less than a c-note, but if you’ve got an extra $20,000 lying around (which I know you all do) you can snag 30 tickets, 10 bottles of Moet and five bottles of Ciroc. Sounds like a damn good time to me. Anyways, who wouldn’t pay $20K so see what color Nicki’s hair is going to be this time?  -- Tickets

4. Who: Matt Barnes

Where: J Lounge

When:  Friday, February 18. 9pm-2am.

Why: It’s the “Official Purp & Yellow All Star Party.” Sold! Who doesn’t want to spend the night listening to the best remix of the year play every five songs? It’s free (somewhat) before 10:30 but a “trendy fitted dress code” will be enforced.  --  Details

3. Who: Sundy Carter (I don’t know who she is either) and Kevin Hart

Where: LostSEVEN

When:  Sunday, February 20. 10pm-6am.

Why: It’s being billed as a “Secret Password Party.” I just can’t resist a good gimmick. Not to mention the powers that be are calling it the “The Sexiest NBA All-Star Game After-Party Ever.” You can get in the door for $99 but $6,000 can get you a jacuzzi for the night.—Shh! It's a secret. -- Tickets

2. Who: Diddy (aka P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Puffy, Sean Combs)

Where: Exchange LA

When:  Sunday, February 20. 9pm.

Why: Dubbed the “Grand Finale”, Diddy is the face of what is being called the “biggest” party of the whole weekend (granted they are calling it that themselves). True to form, $100 is your bottom of the barrel ticket and $20,000 will get you the “Playa’s Suite,” a private “plush” room with your own bar and bathroom. Invite your 30 closest friends to share the 10 bottles of Moet Rose and five bottles of Ciroc vodka. –- Tickets

1. Who: Paul Pierce and Kevin Love

Where: Conga Room at L.A. Live (relocated from The Playboy Mansion)

When:  Friday, February 18. 8pm- 1am.

Why: Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, Blake Griffin, Magic Johnson, Clinton Sparks and DJ Homocide, not to mention the hordes of other celebrities, half-naked women and groupies. The beautiful hostesses are still supposed to be there, so what’s not to love? I hope the recent outbreak of Legionnaire’s Disease doesn’t completely rain on the party. Tickets are anywhere from $200-$5000. -- Details

*Honorable Mention

Who: Chris Brown and Biz Markie

Where: Club 740

When: Sunday, February 20. 8pm- 3am.

Why: This is awesome purely because Biz Markie will be there. Everyone singing in unison to “Just A Friend” then throwing up “Deuces,” I can just see it now. $200 will get you in without having to wait in line. Anywhere from $1,500-$3,000 will snag you VIP bottle service. -- Tickets
