"Two And A Half Men" star Charlie Sheen's unpredictable behavior has created even more controversy - this time his angry rants geared toward the show's creator-executive producer, Chuck Lorre, have led the studio to pull the plug on the show for the rest of the season.

While this does not mean the end of the series, Sheen's behavior brings into question the future of the show and his own career. Could Sheen's recent personalproblems, namely his scandal with cocaine, and now his wild, out of control and hate-filled spree ruin the show's following and destroy the support of his fans?

Sheen began his bizarre and poisonous rant on "The Alex Jones" radio show where he called Lorre a "turd," "clown," "charlatan," and would only refer to him by his "real" name "Chaim Levine."

Things took a turn for the worse when Sheen, now vacationing with two porn stars in the Bahamas, reached out to TMZ, saying "I violently hate Chaim Levine" and calling him a "stupid, stupid little man."

Lorre is said to be very upset by Sheen's remarks, especially since the show revived the star's career and is earning him $1.2 million an episode. WBTV and CBS were also actively involved in the decision to cancel production for the rest of the season, even though WBTV could potentially lose tens of millions of dollars if the series does not continue.

Other issues of compensation, including an entire unpaid crew, will be discussed next week.

Ultimately, however, Lorre's importance to the studio was the most central factor in this decision, as he is also behind "The Big Bang Theory" and "Mike & Molly."

The studio also shut down production when Sheen underwent rehab following domestic violence charges. Though Sheen hoped to leave the show after this episode, he returned because of another lucrative two-year contract.

Think that's all for Sheen's foolish tirades? Think again.

Not only did Sheen send another letter to TMZ calling Lorre a "maggot" and "earthworm," but also told an online tabloid, Radar, about negotiations with HBO to have his own "epic" two-hour program.

So is this the end for "Two And A Half Men?" Will Sheen recover from this absurd mental breakdown or follow in the footsteps of countless other celebrities who hit rock bottom and never return?

Only time will tell.

But so far, Lorre and CBS refuse to resume work with Sheen any time soon. "Two And A Half Men" fans shouldn't hold their breath waiting for new episodes.
