UPDATE: Lee's signing has been confirmed by USC.

Marqise Lee, one of the top athletes in the nation, chose USC Wednesday.

At 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, Lee could potentially play receiver or in the defensive secondary though he is most likely to play safety.

Lee was a high school teammate of USC receiver Robert Woods, the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year this season, and USC verbal commit George Farmer at Junipero Serra High in Gardena, Calif.

Making his decision live on FoxSportsWest.com, Lee grabbed a USC hat leaving Oregon and Miami caps sitting on the table.

Lee is listed as a four-star athlete by Rivals and ESPN. Scout has Lee as the No. 3 safety, a four-star recruit.
