Linebacker Kent Turene, who decommitted from USC over the weekend, signed with Georgia Wednesday morning.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker from Boyd Anderson High in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. committed to USC seven months ago, but opened up his recruiting after visiting the Bulldogs, Texas Tech and Nebraska in January.

Turene, who would have added depth at a much needed position for the Trojans, entered the room with a Texas Tech hat before throwing it off and grabbing a Georgia hat.

He is listed as a four-star outside linebacker by ESPN and is a three-star recruit at inside linebacker, according to Scout and Rivals.
