Justin Bieber, the 16-year-old pop star and tween idol, had the Internet buzzing after a candid interview with Rolling Stone magazine about health care, abortion and sex.

"You guys are evil," Canadian Bieber told Rolling Stone contributing editor Vanessa Grigoriadis. "Canada's the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don't need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you're broke because of medical bills.”

In addition to weighing in on the healthcare debate, Bieber said he is anti-abortion, but unsure of his opinion in cases of rape.

“Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason,” said Bieber when asked about abortion after rape. “I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."

Bieber, who is reportedly dating Selena Gomez, also shared his opinions on sex.

"I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them,” said Bieber.

Comments on online articles about the interview across the Web both support and attack Bieber for his comments.

“Give the kid a break,” wrote Chrystal, who did not give her last name, on popeater.com. “He was asked these questions and tried to answer them honestly. And everyone is entitled to an opinion on abortion or anything else.”

Other people who commented online also defended Bieber’s right to have an opinion.

“He's entitled to his opinions... people need to not be going off on him... you may not agree but people need to agree to disagree and still be civil,” wrote Sebastian Saliast on rollingstone.com.

Other comments were not so kind to Bieber.

“When he gets a uterus, he can have a say in abortion rights,” wrote Kacey, who also did not provide her last name, on popeater.com.

Some comments were not angry at Bieber’s responses, but at Rolling Stone for asking the questions.

“I can't believe Rolling Stone would ask a 16 year old boy these questions,” wrote Bena Lun on rollingstone.com. “… Here we are forcing a teenage boy to say whether he thinks a person should be allowed to have an abortion after being raped!”

The complete article hits newsstands and goes online Feb. 18.
