Following food trucks on Twitter has been a phenomon in the last few years but now, chasing food trucks aren’t just for humans anymore.

Man’s best friend can now join in on the food truck craze. The Pydough truck serves organic ice cream and cookies for dogs. Loyal owners track down the truck via Twitter each day and bring their pups to enjoy a freshly made ice cream cookie. In fact, the truck even makes take home cookie dough with no preservatives added so that canines unable to follow the truck can enjoy their treats in peace.

Owner Patrick Guilfoye hand makes the cookies at home each day in small batches to ensure the freshest ingredients. Although the Phydough truck pulled in a huge crowd of patrons when they were at the Americana location, it will be interesting to see whether or not a gourmet food truck for dogs will be able to be economically viable. Neon Tommy’s Kristie Hang tracked down the truck three days in a row to get a feel for this new addition to L.A.’s food truck lineup.
