Running back Javorius "Buck" Allen announced Wednesday morning, he would be signing with the Trojans. USC has since confirmed Allen's signing.

Allen, who is 6-foot-1 and checks in at 210 pounds, hails from Tallahassee, Florida. He was an All-State player at Lincoln High.

He chose the Trojans over in-state powers Florida State and Miami. Also competing for Allen's services were Alabama and Auburn.

ESPN lists Allen as a four-star recruit and the No. 12 running back in the country. He is No. 148 in the ESPNU 150.

Scout and Rivals each rank Allen as a three-star prospect. Allen is rated No. 57 at his position by Scout. Rivals, however, lists him as an "athlete" and ranks Allen at No. 23 in that position.
