Former Stanford commit, Amir Carlisle, signed with the Trojans Wednesday afternoon, the school has confirmed.

Carlisle is a unanimous four-star recruit, despite being listed at athlete, all-purpose back and running back by the different recruiting services. He committed to USC after his January 14 visit to Southern California.

Carlisle switched his commitment following former Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh's decision to take the San Francisco 49ers head coaching vacancy. The 5-foot-11, 180 pound back from Sunnyvale, Calif. starred at The King's Academy.

The speedster is ranked No. 93 overall by Rivals. ESPN has him at No. 114 on the ESPNU top 150.
