The band, Grammy winners themselves for their addictive hit “Days Go By”, also performed at the Om Records party on Saturday night at Supperclub.

The scene at Colony was a little disappointing, even for a weeknight, and the key to entry seemed to be slightly above average looks paired with a Chanel bag for ladies. 

Half of the large Hamptons themed club was closed off, yet there were still empty tables—even in the same room as the stage. 

Dirty Vegas eased into their set with some partygoers not even taking notice that they had begun to play. 

In an adjacent room, one girl—clearly confused about what she should be doing, jumped up and down in her strapless dress on a rope hammock suspended over the room’s central fountain as most of the room watched in mild amusement. 

The strong beats of house music permeated through the airy building, and Dirty Vegas pulled everyone in once the drummer pounded on everything from a cowbell to the metal pipes that ran the length of the ceiling. 

Strobe lights flickered as table hostesses carried out sparkling bottles of Belvedere to the tables dotting the dance floor. 

While Dirty Vegas delivered a good performance, they would have fared better in a more packed environment as much of the excitement was lost in the large space and mostly vacant dance floor.

On March 9, Dirty Vegas will be releasing their new single “Changes” with a new album titled Electric Love due out April 26. Free downloads of the album’s title track are available on the band’s website.
