Across the nation, many Oscars parties will be held, but there is only one official afterparty and that is the Governor's Ball held annually on site at the Kodak Theatre.

Neon Tommy spoke with veteran event producer, Cheryl Cecchetto, as well as chef, Wolfgang Puck, about their plans for this year's soiree.

The expected 1,500 guests will be served 1,200 bottles of Moet & Chandon Champagne by the 900 staff working the event.

Wolfgang Puck spoke of some of his more expensive ingredients like truffles which range about $1,000 per pound, helping to hike the ticket price up to $750 per plate.

The guests will dine in a setting inspired by Latin influences like the Copacabana.

The Swarovski crystals hanging from the ceilings will shimmer as the lighting changes throughout the evening.

On the menu, Wolfgang Puck has everything from sashimi to black truffle pizza.

He even let on to having prepared a special vegetable paella he called the "Black Swan Paella" for Oscar Nomineee and vegetarian Natalie Portman.

Whatever your eating restrictions, no one will want to turn down the 24 karat chocolate Oscars.  Wolfgang Puck said that regardless of who wins the awards, at least with the dessert everyone will go home a winner.

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards airs on Sunday February 27th at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST on ABC.
