Torian White has been on a roller coaster recruitment ride that has taken him from one side of Los Angeles to the other and back...all in less than 24 hours.

Tuesday, Torian White, was verbally committed to UCLA. Just after noon on Wednesday he announced he was choosing to sign with crosstown rival USC during FoxSportsWest.com's Signing Day Special.

But when all was said and done, White's National Letter of Intent was in the UCLA athletic offices. Rumors are swirling that the 6-foot-6, 275-pound offensive tackle's family was not satisfied with White's televised decision.

White had cited USC's theater department as part of the reason he was choosing to be a Trojan, but apparently his family influenced him to switch back to be a Bruin.

ESPN, Rivals and Scout each rate White a three-star recruit. Scout ranks White highest, placing him at No. 41 nationally amonst all offensive tackles. ESPN has him at No. 110 while Rivals does not even rank him.
