Tucson Shooting Victim James Eric Fuller Shouts Death Threat At Tea Party Leader
One week week after six died in Tucson, one of the shooting's victims launched a violent tirade at an ABC town hall event there.
James Eric Fuller (who was simply referred to as Eric Fuller before his arrest) reportedly shouted "You're dead!" at Tucson Tea Party co-founder Trent Humphries after snapping his photo:
"According to Pima County sheriff's spokesman Jason Ogan, Fuller, who was sitting in the front row at the forum, objected to Humphries' suggestion that any conversations about gun control be delayed until all the dead were buried."
Authorities say Fuller ranted at the audience gathered for an ABC News special entitled "After the Tragedy: An American Conversation Continued", calling them "whores."
Humphries has taken on a martyr complex since the Tucson shooting, pointing to a liberal conspiracy against his Tea Party.
Fuller was arrested and committed to an undisclosed medical facility. He was wounded twice on Jan. 8, once in the knee and once in the back.
