The Pima County Sheriff's Department released a timeline Friday of the events that lead up to and happened after the Saturday shooting spree outside a Tucson Safeway that left six dead and 14 wounded, including U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ).

According to USA TODAY, the police said Loughner attempted twice to buy ammunition at local Wal-Marts and develop photographs of himself posing in a g-string with a gun in the morning hours leading up to the attack.

Loughner last appeared in a Phoenix court Monday, facing 5 federal charges.
