On the second anniversary of President Obama’s inauguration comes news he will face a challenger for the Democratic nomination in 2012.

CNN reports Randall Terry, the founder of anti-abortion group Operation Rescue, announced his political plans on Thursday.  Terry admitted to ABCNews that he has no chance of unseating the sitting president in a primary, his goal is to bring attention to his social platform.

“I can marshal a Democratic, Catholic base against him.  Even if I get 10 or 15 percent of the vote in Iowa or New Hampshire, it will embarrass him,” Terry said.

Terry is attempting to air graphic ads depicting abortion during the Super Bowl.  Generally networks can deny to air an ad.  Last year CBS opted not to air ads from GoDaddy.com and Man Crunch, a gay dating website.  Fox, the network airing Super Bowl XLV, may not have a say in the matter.  The Federal Communications Act forbids broadcasters from censoring ads of legally qualified political candidates.

A typical 30-second ad during the Super Bowl is selling for $2.5 million and Terry expects to raise enough money to pay for the spot.
