Senior Entertainment Editors
The stars on the Golden Globes red carpet were as fashion forward as always, stepping it up for the show's 68th year. While tonight we honor the best in TV and film, the Golden Globes is also a perfect opportunity to recognize the best in fashion. The stars boasted a wide-range of styles and colors for the night, but forest green, pale pink and nude tones seemed to be the most popular color choices for the evening, while longer, backless, one shouldered and bandage dresses stood out as the most chosen styles. 20s' inspired silhouettes also made a repeated appearance, setting a Hollywood Golden Age glamourous tone for the night. Neon Tommy's Entertainment Editors discuss who wowed and who flopped on tonight's Golden Globes red carpet.

Natalie Portman -Viktor and Rolf pale pink silk dress with red flower, Stella McCartney red shoes, Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Piya: Absolutely stunning, and I love the choice of Viktor and Rolf on the red carpet, such a talented pair of designers, needs to be on the red carpet more!
Nicole: Beautiful as always, love the pale pink with her skin color.  Not a huge fan of the red flower, but still amazingly chic.
Halle Berry -  Nina Ricci black corseted, short-skirted dress with a chiffon train.
Piya: OMG. Wowzer.
Nicole: What a dress...
Mila Kunis - Vera Wang one-shouldered forest green dress, Yves Saint Laurent heels, Judith Leiber clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Piya: STUNNING. She looks gorgeous, the dress flatters her curves.
Nicole: Really amazing dress. She looks absolutely beautiful. One of my favorites of the night for sure.
Nicole Kidman- Prada off-white one-shouldered sequinned dress, Pierre Hardy heels, Roger Vivier clutch and Fred Leighton jewels.
Piya: Not a fan of this - little too clingy, needs a better bra! Doesn’t look too washed out for once though, her hair color looks great. Wish the dress didn’t look so bad on her.
Nicole: She looks lovely but the dress isn’t my favorite. Her hair color might not wash her out but the off white of the dress certainly does.
Angelina Jolie
 - Atelier Versace Swarovski-encrusted royal green high-neck backless dress, Salvatore Ferragamo heels, Robert Procop jewels.
Piya: High-neck? Check. Backless? Check. Pout? Check. Brad Pitt? Check. Need we say more?
Nicole: She looks beautiful and the dress looks fabulous on her, and I'm a big fan of the color.
Megan Fox - Giorgio Armani Privé pale pink one-shouldered Swarovski embellished gown, Brian Atwood shoes, Roger Vivier clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Piya: Can Megan ever look bad?! She's bang on trend with the color, but she could have gone with something a little flirtier.
Nicole: So stunning. She is definitely living up to her bombshell reputation. Her dress is unbelievably sexy and she looks fantastic.
Amy Adams - Marchesa navy one-shouldered scalloped dress.
Piya: Finally, a Marchesa dress! The color looks stunning with Amy's hair, and I can't believe she had a baby only a few months ago!
Nicole: I’m in love with this color. She looks absolutely stunning in this.
Catherine Zeta Jones - Monique L’Hullier forest green strapless fishtail dress, Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry
Piya: Gorgeous colour, she looks so classy. Monique L’Huillier is her go-to designer and she looks great.
Nicole: Love the forest green trend for the night. The design of the dress is absolutely beautiful. The Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry is stunning.
January Jones in an eye-popping Versace dress
January Jones in an eye-popping Versace dress
January Jones
- Versace red bandage dress, black patent Versace platform heels, Versace clutch.
Piya: CRAZY! She looks stunning, but come on! Hard to keep eyes on her face.
Nicole: I hope everything on this dress stays put! She looks great though!
Julianne Moore - Lanvin hot pink one shouldered dress, Lanvin shoes, Bulgari clutch and jewelry.
Piya: Hot pink? Really Julianne? I wish she had opted for a deeper colour, this dress could look so much better on a younger person.
Nicole: Love the color on its own...but it does not suit her!
Eva Longoria - Zac Posen black fish-tail dress with diamond-cut neckline.
Piya: Eva always looks so sexy and sophisticated on the red carpet. Her curves look killer in this dress.
Nicole: Not my favorite dress of the evening, but she always looks great.
Helena Bonham Carter - Vivienne Westwood pattered dress with one green shoe and one pink shoe.
Piya: This would look awful on anyone else, but it's quirky, eccentric and perfect Helena.
Nicole: Love Helena, she can pull it off.
Scarlett Johansson - Elie Saab champagne-colored sequinned v-neck dress, Jimmy Choo heels, Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry.
Piya: WHAT IS THAT HAIR? Wrong wrong wrong. Makes the dress look awful. Sorry Scarlett, I hate this.
Nicole: The hair aside, I am a fan of the 20s inspired dress. The sleeves may be a little too much though.
Michelle Williams - Valentino flowery thin strap nude-colored dress, Christian Louboutin heels and Fred Leighton jewels.
Piya: No. Too “cutesy,” like something out of Little House on the Prairie.
Nicole: Come on, it's the Golden Globes...step it up!
Christina Aguilera - Zuhair Murad strapless black lace dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, Valentino clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Piya: No. Too overdone Christina, leave the black lace to Cher. And the dress is doing nothing to hide the pregnancy rumors.
Nicole: This IS NOT "Burlesque”! Not a fan.
Hailee Steinfeld - Prabal Gurung halter-neck dress, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, Amanda Pearl clutch, Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Piya: The dress is too old for her, but I love the injection of color with the blue Amanda Pearl clutch.
Nicole: She looks beautiful but the dress may be a bit too old for her. She could have worn something younger and more fun.
Sarah Hyland
- vintage Max Azria Atelier champagne-colored strapless gown with a show-stopping Mikimoto necklace, Charles David heels and Daniel Swarovski clutch.
Piya: The "Modern Family" starlet has been making some great choices on the red carpet, and I like this dress, she channels old-school glamor.
Nicole:Love the champagne color and the silhouette of the dress. Her necklace is also incredibly beautiful but is a bit much with the jeweled detailing on the bust of the dress.
Jennifer Lawrence - Louis Vuitton black and white ruffled dress, Roger Vivier shoes, Judith Leiber clutch and Chopard jewels.
Piya: The 20-year-old nominee for "A Writer's Bone" makes her red carpet debut in Vuitton and looks gorgeous.
Nicole: She looks beautiful in this, but some of the detailing is too ornate for my taste.
Carrie Underwood - Badgley Mischka champagne-colored sequinned strapless long gown, Brian Atwood shoes, Swarovski clutch, Johnathon Arndt jewelry.
Nicole: She looks absolutely stunning. Love the color and the sparkles do not look over done.
Piya: Carrie always gets it right on the red carpet, but I’d love to see her take on some colors for once. She looks gorgeous though.
Mandy Moore - Monique L'Hullier one-shouldered royal blue gown, Brian Atwood heels, Jimmy Choo clutch and Chopard jewels.
Piya: Mandy's channelling Kate Middleton in this royal blue hue!
Nicole: Love the romantic look of the dress, and the shade of blue. Not usually a fan of tulle, but in this case, it works.
Olivia Wilde makes a fashion faux-pas in this Marchesa prom-dress
Olivia Wilde makes a fashion faux-pas in this Marchesa prom-dress
Olivia Wilde
- Marchesa gold/bronze sequinned dress, gold sparkling Christian Louboutin shoes, Judith Leiber clutch, Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Piya: Looks like a high school prom dress, dislike this.
Nicole: No No No No!
Sandra Bullock- Jenny Packham one-shouldered pale pink embellished dress, Jimmy Choo platform heels.
Piya: Her fringe looks amazing, and she looks gorgeous.
Nicole: Again, love the 20s glam.
Lea Michele - Oscar de la Renta pale pink dress with exaggerated ruffles across neckline and train, Christian Louboutin heels, Judith Leiber clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Piya: Overdone!! She tries too hard, and I can't help but dislike this look. The dress alone is beautifully romantic.
Nicole: Like the top of the dress, but the rest goes way overboard.
Tina Fey- L’Wren Scott navy blue v-neck ruffled dress, Jimmy Choo satin heels, Swarovski velvet clutch.
Nicole: Very very safe-  I wish she could try something other than a black or navy dress for an award show.
Piya: Classy, safe option. I like it, but maybe a little overdone with the ruffles? I love her too much, I’m biased.
Emma Stone
 - Calvin Klein Collection peach capped-sleeve long dress, Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry.
Piya: Emma looks like she's walked straight off the catwalk in this dress, which is accessorized perfectly with her glowing California tan and bleached blonde locks. Easy A+ from me.
Nicole: Love the silhouette of the dress. She's definitely making a bold color statement with the choice of peach.
Leighton Meester - Burberry Prorsum pre-fall 2011 nude coloured long-sleeved dress, statement Jimmy Choo heels, Louis Vuitton clutch and Cathy Waterman jewels.
Piya: Could go a little younger and more daring. She looks great, but maybe a little too old for her?
Nicole: I can’t get enough of her. I love everything she wears- she can pull off anything and always looks impeccable. This is no exception. I especially love her shoes.
Anne Hathaway - Giorgio Armani Privé Swarovski-encrusted bronze backless gown with exaggerated shoulders.
Piya: Not a fan of the color, but the dress looks stunning and I love backless dresses. Just not a fan of this on Anne.
Nicole: The fit is lovely on her, but she’s DEFINITELY done better.
Jane Lynch - Ali Rahimi black sleeveless long dress.
Piya: Looks so glam and unlike Sue Sylvester!
Nicole: Complete transformation!

Sofia Vergara - Vera Wang bright red strapless dress with black bow details, David Webb jewelry.
Piya: So sexy, so classy and so fabulous on the red carpet. She never gets it wrong.
Nicole: LOVE her. She can pull off sexy without looking too much. Not many people can do that.

Claire Danes - Calvin Klein Collection hot pink halter-neck long dress, Fred Leighton jewels.
Piya: Not sure...Emma Stone’s look from the same collection is much better. Hate the halterneck, it looks so 90s.
Nicole: Not a fan of the color or the style. She could have done better...and usually does.
Jennifer Lopez - Zuhair Murad white spaghetti strap dress with sparkling shawl, Christian Louboutin shoes (of course), Swarovski clutch and $5 million Harry Winston jewels.
Piya: NO. Hate it. Sparkles look awful. And not even $5 million Harry Winston jewels can fix this.
Nicole: What is that thing on top of her dress? J. Lo what were you thinking??
Elisabeth Moss takes best dressed for the Mad Men ladies in Donna Karen
Elisabeth Moss takes best dressed for the Mad Men ladies in Donna Karen
Elisabeth Moss - Donna Karen forest green strapless fishtail dress, Jimmy Choo heels, Judith Leiber clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Piya: Step aside Christina Hendricks and January Jones, Elisabeth takes best dressed for the "Mad Men" team tonight.
Nicole: I love the color! She looks great and the silhouette really shows off her curves.
Julie Bowen - Max Azria Atelier champagne-colored ruffled one-shouldered dress, Charles David shoes, Swarovski clutch and Mikimoto jewelry.
Piya: The 'Modern Family" ladies are pulling out all the stops! I love the color and the ruffles on Julie's dress.
Nicole: I think Julie's dress looks spectacular. She really upped the glam for "Modern Family's" big night!
Naya Rivera - Douglas Hannant pale pink strapless column dress, Neil Lane jewels.
Piya: Holy cleavage alert Naya!
Nicole: She looks great in this dress and I love the rose detailing.
Heather Morris - Lorena Sarbu champagne-colored sparkling short-sleeved draped gown.
Piya: Heather seems to be channelling Britney Spears in Toxic with this choice of color! The draping is very golden-age glamour.
Nicole: Champagne is definitely one of the popular choices for the night, but I'm not loving this silhouette on her.
Dianna Agron
 - J. Mendel champagne-colored embellished dress, Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, Cathy Waterman jewels.
Piya: Dianna looks radiant in this number, but I'd love to see her in something a little edgier.
Nicole: Absolutely love this dress. The necklace and shoes finish off the look perfectly.
Amber Riley - Oliver Tolentino one-shouldered sequinned dress with black details, Midas heels, Michelle Monroe clutch and Charles Albert ring.
Piya: I love the choice of local LA designer Oliver Tolentino, but I'm not loving her hair. As the dress is so bold, I wish she had kept her hair simple.
Nicole: This is a very bold dress and a lot to handle. But it certainly goes hand-in-hand with Amber's bold personality on and off screen.
Jenna Ushkowitz - Rebecca Taylor grey/blue strapless dress with ruffled skirt.
Piya: I love the color, and the ruffles. Amidst the sea of champagnes and pinks, this really stands out.
Nicole: I think this dress looks stunning on her. Love the ruffled skirt, but I think the dress would look much more chic without the sequinned band on the waist.
Jayma Mays - Alberta Ferretti plunging v-neck sleeveless gown.
Piya: Very golden-age and very glamorous! Love the bold lips.
Nicole: I really like this dress on her. What a transformation from her on-screen style!
Julianna Margulies
 - Vintage Yves Saint Laurent black and pink column dress.
Piya: I really don't like the pink on this dress. I know it's YSL, but Julianna could have picked something more flattering and age-appropriate.
Nicole:Not really sure what I think about this dress, but I'm not too fond of the black to pink ratio. Think this dress would have looked better in one color.
Melissa Leo - Marc Bouwer black sequinned gown, Swarovski clutch.
Piya: The Golden Globes nominee looks stunning in a 20s' inspired dress with loosely tied hair.
Nicole: I don't usually like capped sleeves, but this works on her.
Christina Hendricks - Romona Keveza bright red one-shouldered gown with ruffled neckline, Chopard jewels.
Piya: Ok Christina, we get it, you have killer curves. Turn down the volume on this outfit, please!
Nicole: WOW. The color and style of this dress make it way too over the top.
Kaley Cuoco - Katharine Kidd pale pink tiered strapless gown, Jimmy Choo heels and Chopard jewels.
Piya: She looks like a cake! A very pretty cake.
Nicole: She's adorable, but this dress isn't! She looks like a 5-layered cake!
Edie Falco - Valentino bright red couture one-shouldered gown.
Piya: The color is so bold! Definitely a sophisticated choice for the red carpet.
Nicole: A beautiful Valentino dress. She looks very classy.
Jennifer Love Hewitt - Romono Keveza ice-blue strapless gown with pleated bust details, Casadei heels, Sang A clutch, Jennifer Behr belt and Le Vian jewelry.
Piya: Certainly the only one in this color, but I wish she went with something more tailored to her curves.
Nicole:Not my favorite dress, but she looks glamorous nonetheless.
