Despite a rough year politically, President Obama remains the most admired man in America, according to a USA Today/Gallup poll released Monday. Obama has held the top spot on the list for three years running. Former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton round out the top three on the men's side.

On the female side, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tops the list of most admired women for the ninth straight year. Former Alaska Governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin is second on the list, while Oprah Winfrey rounded out the top three. First Lady Michelle Obama came in at number four.

According to USA Today:

Some of the findings reflect a partisan cast. Obama is named by almost half of Democrats but just 6% of Republicans. Bush is the most-admired man among Republicans, cited by 11%. Hillary Clinton is cited by nearly a third of Democrats but just 5% of Republicans. Palin is the most-admired woman among Republicans, at 26%.
