Two men were injured Thursday after two parcel bombs sent to the Chilean and Swiss embassies in Rome exploded inside.

The Italian news agency ANSA reported that an anarchist group claimed responsibility for at least one of the bombs.

A note in a box was found near one of the injured men that read, "Long live anarchy." The note was left by a group calling itself the Informal Anarchist Federation.

Anarchists groups have launched similar attacks in Greece and Italy recently, and police are looking at possible connections, according to Italian media reports.
