Aftenposten Newspaper In Norway Claims To Have All WikiLeaks Cables

A Norwegian newspaper says it has gained access to all 250,000 of diplomatic cables sent by WikiLeaks to five other major newspapers, though the paper's managing editor refused to say how it got a hold of the documents.

Other than WikiLeaks itself, no one other than America's The New York Times, Spain's El Pais, France's Le Monde, Britain's Guardian newspaper and the German magazine Der Spiegel is believed to have possession of every document in an unrestricted format.

"We were at first surprised when we got all the documents, but now we have put a lot of resources into going through all these documents and we have published several articles already," the managing editor told CNN.

"We can publish this material when and how we want. But we have no intention of publishing all the documents just to publish them. We will only publish the actual documents for the articles that we publish."
