SLIDESHOW: Voters Stream In To Los Angeles Polling Place
This is the first time Hillel has been used as a polling site for elections. Voting took place in the building's main program room, where there were 5 booths set up. Voters at this location were either assigned to the precinct, provisional voters, or submitting an absentee ballot. At 10:30 a.m., 30-some people had voted at this location. However, as I walked by the building on my way back from class at 4:30 p.m., the line to vote was out the door. Polls close tonight at 8p.m., and the proctors predict an influx of people will come vote at this site in the closing hours.
