The USC Trojan football team let one slip away losing 20-16 to Notre Dame to end their eight-year winning streak against the Fighting Irish.

Correction, it was not an 8 game winning streak, though it was an 8 game losing streak for ND. The 2005 USC win was vacated due to the player who pushed the QB illegally into the end zone was ineligible to play. But Fight On!
