CoCo is back! Conan O’Brien made his return to the late-night scene with the premiere of Conan on TBS.

Conan was joined by guests Seth Rogan and Lea Michele. Conan brought in the laughs with lines like: "A lot's happened in the news since I went off the air, and I was hoping I could cover it all in one joke.

But then I realized that's like trying to keep an Icelandic volcano from wearing Lady Gaga’s meat dress while a trapped Chilean miner cleans up the BP oil spill, comma, Brett Favre’s penis."

O’Brien’s humor capitalized on his move from the glitzy NBC stage to the hum-drum of basic cable TBS: “I’m going to be honest. It’s not easy doing a late-night show on a channel without a lot of money and that viewers have trouble finding. So that’s why I left NBC.” O’Brien will return tonight with guest Tom Hanks. Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina Lohan, finally found it in her to come clean about her daughter’s drug use. In an interview with "Today’s" Matt Lauer, Dina admitted that her daughter is an addict. When asked about her previous denial, Dina said, “As a mother it wasn’t for me to come to tell the world…about her problem.” Dina even went so far as to suggest that Lindsay and her father should reconnect if it would be beneficial to Lindsay’s recovery. Dina is crossing her fingers that this time Lindsay will recover: “Addiction is difficult…I pray hard…We can only be positive and look to the future to help other families.” (Source: People.com)

The Americans swept the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards Sunday and was even hosted by an American: Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria. Lady Gaga took home three prizes, including Best Female and Best Song for the hit "Bad Romance."  Despite being unable to attend the Madrid-based show, Gaga accepted them via satellite link from Budapest, Hungary where she is on tour. Fellow American Katy Perry took home an award for Best Video for California Gurls. She and fellow newlywed Russell Brand made their first public appearance together since their marriage in India two weeks ago. Eminem, Paramore, Ke$ha, 30 Seconds to Mars and Linkin Park also claimed prizes. Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber claimed two awards for Best Male and Best Push Act. Host Longoria made 13 costume changes throughout the night, one of which included a costume shaped like a giant Spanish ham. Shakira, Bon Jovi and Rihanna all made the list of live performers, while Bon Jovi took home a global icon prize for a three-decade stint in the music business. (Source: BBC)

Lily Allen is slowly recovering from the potentially lethal blood poisoning condition known as septicaemia. A representative said that Allen is responding well to treatment and “thanks everyone for their messages of support.” Allen’s hospitalization came a mere five days after Allen announced that she had suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy. Allen also had a miscarriage almost three years ago with musician Ed Simons. Allen says that being a mother is “ultimately my main goal.” She and her partner, Sam Cooper, are asking for privacy while they recover. (Source: US Magazine)
